indieBerlin – The Photos Exhibition: The best of the Berlin music scene in pictures

by | Art, Everything Else

Experience the best music and burlesque moments over the past years in a new indieBerlin photo exhibition – vernissage on 18.2 at the Music and Lifestyle Hotel nhow Berlin on Stralauer Allee 3.

We’re very excited to announce our upcoming indieBerlin exhibtion, aptly named indieBerlin – The Photos. We’ll be presenting the best photos from the last six years from indieBerlin photographers Mia Morris and Caterina Gili, together with a very special guest Michael Spencer Jones from Manchester.

The finest moments of the Berlin music scene

Mia and Caterina have been snapping the finest moments of the independent scene in Berlin over the last years and we’ve picked a number of their best shots to present in the gallery space in the Music and Lifestyle Hotel nhow Berlin, situated on Stralauer Allee (by Warschauer Brucke) between MTV and Universal Music.

Great bands, DJs and a very special photographer guest

Some moments of a scene are unforgettable. The moments where the audience and the musicians melt together and the energy, the sound, the light unite, and sometimes you’re in the right place and at the right moment to get it on film.

The exhibition reveals the highlights of music moments on the indie scene in Berlin, featuring shots of Massive Attack, Editors, PJ Harvey, HUNDREDS, Thom Yorke, Bloc Party, Blondie, Arcade Fire, Travis, Depeche Mode, Von Wegen Lisbeth, Savages, The/Das, Lada Redstar, Jack Woodhead, Bana Banal Rodriguez, Hurricane Irina and more.

We have an opening party planned for the exhibition on the 18th February from 7pm with all possible bells and whistles: With a couple of great bands (details to follow) and Berlin’s favourite down and funky DJ White Lie on the decks.
