With an extensive variety of performances, spanning from metropolitan/indie/pop-singer-songwriter Yusuf Sahilli, to Aurélien Bernard’s ‘multimedia band experience’ of 3 South & Banana, to folk-cum-rock-cum-R’n’B trio Wyvern Lingo, Lofi-Lounge im Exil offers its audience the opportunity to experience the crème de la crème of Berlin’s buzzing music scene!

Multi-instrumentalist Yusuf Sahilli’s ingenious compositions consist of musical idioms, fluctuating tempos, and rich harmonies and melodies, all the while evoking a compelling desire to dance in everyone who hears them. As demonstrated in his successful debut album “Atoms & The Void”, and equally successful second album “Let’s Do That”, Yusuf combines the genres of classic rock, golden age pop, the blues rock of the sixties, and the blues. It is sure to be an unforgettable performance by Yusuf, accompanied by Damian Giambazi on bass and Martin Krümmling on drums, this Saturday at Lofi-Lounge!

The fascinating 3 South & Banana has recently gained a wide-spread reputation around its live shows, aka ‘multimedia live band performances’. With references to artistic loners, and the unique approach to songwriting and stage art of the project’s head Aurélien Bernard, 3 South & Banana has grown quite a following. You won’t believe it until you see it, and this performance will most certainly put a smile on your face, as Aurélien explains: “3 South & Banana grew out of a comedic misunderstanding. I think humour is one great way to overcome self-doubt and my debut album and project in general explores this phenomenon.”

The trio of Wyvern Lingo originally formed their sound by interweaving the music of Thin Lizzy, Led Zeppelin, Joni Mitchell and Simon & Garfunkel, but, having gained confidence in themselves and the band as a whole, the trio started out on their own musical path combining folk, hip-hop, rock and R’N’B. Their three unique voices join the dots between this multitude of genres, and through their lyrics they are able to elegantly express all of their hopes and fears.
