With MW:M (Most Wanted: Music) bearing down at us at a rate of knots, we’re featuring a short series of posts to let you in on just how f*king cool this “better, modern, weirder music conference” actually is.
Taking the somewhat staid music conference template, turning it on its head, kicking it around the room and then refashioning it from the ground up, MW:M19 is sure to be a humdinger of a music industry get-together. And the best bit? There are still a small number of tickets going, so jump on that mother!
With ways to hook up with other industry goers including “Lunch Buddies”, “Most Wanted Walks” and the “BMC Breakfast Club” and a plethora of other crazy gimmicks that we’ll be unveiling in the next days (or you could just go to the website :)), it’s going to be an amazing couple of days – kicked off of course, the evening before, on the 5th November in Music House, by the Listen to Berlin Awards!

At MWM:19 you can be part of tomorrow’s live show, today. Prof. Ralf Schmidchanges what a piano performance can be as he “plays” a grand piano via hand gestures, shaping the show with motion through his mi.mu gloves. Flip the concept of a gig with Amsterdam jazz band Tin Men and the Telephone, whose performance and sound are controlled by the audience; and experience a unique performance-lecture as computer scientist Mark d’Inverno reveals the trick to programming creative AI.
