WIN 2 x tickets for Lucy Rose on Monday 6th May 2019

by | indieBerlin

The young British folk singer, Lucy Rose, plays Berlin on Monday and you could be coming along for FREE.

Rose, one of the finest folk songwriters to come out of the UK since the turn of the century, is back on the road following the 22nd March release of her fourth album, No Words Left. As part of a sprawling tour that also hits LA, Bangkok and Sydney, the singer will play songs from the album at Berlin’s Tempodrom next week.

A contemporary and collaborator of the likes of Bombay Bicycle Club, Laura Marling and The Staves, Rose has travelled a long way since her 2012 debut, Like I Used To. As well as making engaging, captivating albums, the singer-songwriter has a reputation for navigating the modern music industry in an innovative and unique way.

Particularly worth a watch is the mini-documentary following her 2017 South American tour, during which she played small town, local bars and stayed overnight with fans she met on the internet. It’s a heartwarming example of the connection Rose has with her followers, as well as the vivid resonance her songs have for so many. The recent album builds on the singer’s trusted style, and no doubt the audience will already be well-acquainted with the new songs.

If, like us, you can’t imagine missing this show, then email your full name to win(@)indieberlin.de by the end of Friday 3rd May for the chance to claim the two free tickets.
