Catch Banglist and Mexican Radio on Alex radio today at 4pm!

by | indieBerlin

Not had your fill of spicy Scandipop outfit Banglist just yet? Fret not – their shiny new single Ain’t No Way will hit the airwaves of Alex Radio this afternoon.

Delicious melodies and slick instrumentation temporarily aside, the track highlights the contemporary songwriting ability of the foursome – plus the control singer รsdรญs has over her vocal line is pretty impressive. Standing as something of a foray into neosoul, Ain’t No Way will drop on the Best New Bands show starting at 16:00, so keep your ears open.

It’s a simultaneously mournful-yet-upbeat ode to an unexpected breakup, and there’s no chance of you not humming the chorus for the rest of the week. Mixed and produced by the phenomenal Cameron Laing at The Famous Gold Watch Studios, it’s a total gut-puncher, with a raw and flawless performance courtesy of the group themselves.

Banglist have a lot more tucked up their sleeves for you to get excited about, and the third single from the eyebow-raising quartet is definitely worth a listen. Catch them on Alex Radio here and don’t forget to creep on their Instagram and Facebook if you like what you hear.

Also on show today are indieBerlin’s favourite synth-punkers Mexican Radio

The trio in the lightning-bolt red jumpsuits are riding high on the release last week of video-single Night of the Nihilist and join Noel Maurice in the studio for a good chat about 19th Century anarchists in Russia and Japanese suicide pacts.

Just perfect for a rainy Monday afternoon!
