WIN 2 x tickets to Joyce Manor on Tuesday 23rd April 2019

by | indieBerlin

Joyce Manor released their fifth full-length album, Million Dollars to Kill Me, in the autumn of 2018.

The band’s subsequent European tour, featuring support from The Murderburgers, arrives at Friedrichshain’s Musik & Frieden next Tuesday 23rd April and – you guessed it (you clever thing) – indieBerlin have tickets to spare.

It’s been eight years since the Californian foursome announced themselves with their eponymous debut album and while the scene around them has changed, Joyce Manor have remained consistent in their particular brand of sharp, catchy pop-punk.

Joyce Manor have remained consistent in their particular brand of sharp, catchy pop-punk.

Never generally keen on songs over the three-minute mark, Joyce Manor‘s show in Berlin is sure to be as riotous as their records. Although their most recent output features a few (relatively) calm, reflective moments, such as in ‘Big Lie’, fans will be listening out for older favourites such as ‘Constant Headache’ and ‘Heart Tatoo’. These tracks are more emblematic of the angsty, post-Blink-182 sound of the late 00s.
